Intashyo Terms of Use

These terms cover the Intashyo iOS app ("Intashyo," "we," "our," or "the app"). Please also read our Privacy Policy.

Apple's license agreement

Your use of the app is governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

Free features and the subscription

  • Always free: the resource directory and the emergency numbers.
  • Free for your first 30 days: the AI features (chat, letter scanning, and voice). The 30 days start when you first use the app. You do not sign up or enter a payment method, and nothing is charged unless you choose to subscribe.
  • After the 30 days, the AI features require a monthly subscription. You buy it through Apple's In-App Purchase, and Apple charges the payment method on your Apple Account. The App Store shows the price before you confirm.
  • If you subscribe while you still have free days, billing starts the day you subscribe.
  • The subscription renews automatically every month until you cancel it.
  • You can cancel at any time in your device's Settings → your name → Subscriptions (or in the App Store app). You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Deleting the app, or deleting your Intashyo account, does not cancel the subscription.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple at https://reportaproblem.apple.com.

Information, not advice

Intashyo is an information and referral app. It gives general information and points you to organizations that can help. It does not give legal, medical, immigration, or financial advice, and it does not fill out or file forms for you.

AI answers and letter summaries are generated by a computer (Google Gemini). They can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Before you act on anything important, especially legal, medical, or immigration matters, check it with a licensed professional, a legal aid office, your caseworker, or the agency that sent the letter.

In an emergency, call 911.

Not affiliated

Intashyo is not part of, or affiliated with, any government agency or resettlement organization. The organizations listed in the app are independent of Intashyo.
